A few pics of our DnD game last saturday.
No pictures of the players though. We all have severe cases of stage fright...

Goblins galore! )

For those of you interested, BJ has a LJ dedicated to our DnD games [info]caveofosh, now if only he updated more often...

I admit that probably fits me best, but I like playing a Rogue too!

My left eye is infected and hurting :(
But I guess BJ has it worse 'cause he just had his wisdom teeth removed from one side of his jaw by surgery. Poor guy has a huge lump on the left side of his face now.
We played DnD yesterday which was fun as always. Too bad a character with 11 HP isn't much good in a Gladiator party... Everytime I do something to earn fame (disable device or hit an opponent) it gets nullified because I'm down again. *grumble* Good thing we levelled yesterday, at least I have 18 HP now.

Currently reading Watchmen, so far I really like it. Will post a more indepth review when I've finished reading it.

Next week I will be crazy busy for uni, definitely not looking forward to that.

The Maker
After an afternoon full of PMB (yes the dreaded course has started at last), I decided to work on my first DnD campaign a bit. It's mostly fun; making up nonplayer-characters (NPC's), adventures, the history of the city in which it all is going to happen (I'm leaning a lot towards the Norse/German Mythology. I rewatched Hulk vs. Thor for some inspiration, it's awesome!), the only thing I truly hate is making the character statistics: it's complicated and boring. I wish you could just say; hey this dude is strong, instead of: he has a strength of 16 with a +3 modifier. And then you have to calculate the ability scores so they fit, the Base Attack Bonus and the Armor Class. I'm glad the Hit Points are easy to calculate...Ugh.
Numbers just aren't my favorite things. Too bad it's such a big deal in DnD.
