Like I said before it's a busy week this week. Yesterday I spent most of my time on PMB class and assignments. Today I met with the studyadvisor and got the WAIS-III (IQ-test) from the testlibrary. I've spend a lot of time reading the instructions of the WAIS to make it as smoothly going as possible when I have to subject D. (a corridormate) to it.

BJ came by tonight for group, which was VERY useful today (it was about flexibility in thoughts and actions <-- my biggest problem). After that he stayed for a while and we discussed Watchmen, random comics, fanfiction (original fiction in his case) and fanart. I dug up some fanarts I made almost 4 years ago. They aren't even half bad. Ok, they're bad, but not in the OH GOD STAB YOUR EYES OUT way. lol, that was... unexpected.
I might even be able to overcome the embarrassment and post some of it here. No promises though, you might need to get your laughs elsewhere.

Tomorrow it's PMB workgroup and testing day (test takes approximately 3 hours...) NOT looking forward to that.

I missed this scene in the last two issues of X-force. It's too little even for a drabble, but I felt it needs it to exist anyway... So I 'scripted it'.

Setting: Logan and Neena (Domino) are sitting in some seedy bar, just enjoying a beer and a smoke.

Domino looks at Logan curiously. One eyebrow raised. Logan pretends to watch football on a tv in the corner, ignores her look.

"So what about the girl."

"Long story."

"Your kid?"

"Clone."

"Oh."

Awkward silence. Domino then grins.

"How very Summers of you."

"Fuck off, Dom."

End of scene.

OK, dilemma. You can say; "(...)I will not stand here and let you hurt yourself or others."
Right?

But what if the person who says it is a paraplegic? Would it still be 'stand here' if Charles Xavier said it (the disabled version obviously)? Or would it be 'sit here'? :s

On one hand I'm thinking; it's a figure of speech, on the other I don't like the sound of it...



P.S. I can't get that awful joke about Xavier's only weakness out of my head...
