Today I went to the open softball and baseball training of the
Radboud Rangers, the university team. It was so awesome! I had a lot of fun and I think I'll go again next week and I might even return every week.
When I was a wee little girl (think 10 to 6 years ago) I played baseball with SHOCK, the local club in Kampen. I loved the game, too bad I couldn't stand the people. I played for several years, but I figured out that the people there just weren't my kind of people and when I had to go to another team (I had to play softball, because I'm a girl) I just called it quits.
From what I gathered tonight, the Radboud Rangers are completely different from the SHOCK folks. For one they are all college/ university students, secondly they're very relaxed and friendly. They just don't have that 'air' around them.
:D
